PAINTING & DRAWING
In a time where systemic instability threatens communities, the simple act of remembering, gathering, and caring for one another becomes an act of resistance.
We cling to these memories as they shape who we become, even as they fade. Only through the passage of time will we know the importance of the present. Our memories become an archive of our joys and sorrows.
I find myself captivated by the essence of mundane life. Exploring the interplay between memory, growth, and intimacy has become a central focus of my artistic exploration. I am attempting to capture the subtleties and nuances of these ordinary aspects of life. How does our memory embellish certain parts and let others fall away?
I push my work beyond mere representation into a space where emotion, memory, and materiality are in constant dialogue.
